We also provide direct integrations with your build pipeline, including Unreal andUnity engines. Use API endpoints instead of cutting and pasting, and there are easy exports to .json, line data or .ink available with the click of your mouse
Collaboration and Project Management
How many collaborators can I work with on the same script?
Scripto allows unlimited collaborators to work on a script, but the number you can add depends on yourPlan. You can customize permissions for each collaborator, giving you full control over who can edit, view specific scripts, create rundowns or push to prompter.

How does version control work in Scripto?
Scripto automatically captures snapshots while you edit and allows you to take snapshots whenever you’d like so you can access earlier versions without any extra effort. The intuitive side-by-side reports make it easy to compare versions, so you can focus on the creative flow without worrying about losing work or managing files manually.
Can I customize formatting options in Scripto?
Yes! Scripto offers flexible formatting options to adjust line spacing, margins, alignment, font style, and more. You can customize formatting for specific block types like dialogue or scene headings, and we also support unique customizations for different script formats such as studio, screenplay, and gaming. Scripto can even individually customize the script and/or rundown format specific to your needs for the entire workspace if desired.
Does Scripto offer any integrations for collaboration with other tools?
Yes, Scripto integrates with the major teleprompters like WinPlus, Autoscript, Telescript and more. For gaming, we integrate with the major game engines like Unreal or Unity, and we even have a public API for more custom integrations. Scripto even integrates with Slack, allowing teams to keep in sync by sharing updates directly to Slack channels. And, because of our many export options, Scripto allows you to create files that can be used in other applications, like Fountain or Scriptation, so you can continue using it without disrupting your current workflow.
